Protect yourself from fraud on the internet by identifying and avoiding internet scams and phishing attempts. I copied the following from the Amazon web site: That it was not them, to disregard the call and not to worry. So, I called Amazon, they confirmed that they DO NOT CALL CUSTOMERS on the phone.

This people are good at it, that is their job, they pray on innocent users. The person tries to get the victim/me to grant access using Ultra Viewer, then they proceed to steal information from your electronic device, computer of phone. This was a major scam, well organized and planned. I could hear many other conversations in the background using the word Amazon during their conversations, it sounded busier than a real customer service office. The person had my wife's name as well, he sounded almost real. I happened to had placed four orders from Amazon a few minutes prior to that call. That someone was trying to make a purchase of $1,299 and they had stopped it it because it was suspicious.
